Large quantities of Nickel are used for making various stainless steel, soft magnetism alloy, heat-resistance alloy and erosion-resistance alloy, etc. Nickel and Chrome alloy (such as Ni-Cr20), having high heat resistance and resistance, is used for as resistors. Ni-Cr and Ni-Cr10 are suitable for thermocouples with large resistance and low temperature resistivity. Nickel based heat-resistance alloy is mainly applied for disks and leaves in turbo.
