Inconel 600 is a Nickel-Chromium-Iron Solid-Solution Strengthened alloy, with good resistance to oxidation and corrosion at high temperatures, excellent cold-working and welding performance. Under 700℃, the high-temperature strength and plasticity are very satisfactory.

Therefore, Inconel 600 is usually applied in temperature or corrosion resistant equipments, such as thermocouples’ protective bushings under erosive atmosphere, refrigeration system, heating hearth and fasteners in nuclear reactors, production or application fields of corrosive alkali metals, retorts and components in hot treating furnaces, etc.
